Michele is an awesome trainer who has designed a program specific to my physical and overall health needs. She has researched yoga positions that have helped with stress and physical concerns that I have shared with her, as well as weight conditioning and aerobic activities. She is knowledgeable in the area of goal setting and very supportive in her encouragement of my goals, helping me to remain focused on the plan we developed, and created new routines as goals are met. We also discuss food plans – pros and cons. Michele is a source of many ideas for customizing menus and offering suggestions for those hectic days when thinking about “what’s for dinner?” can be overwhelming.

Jocelyn

Michele most impresses me with her ability to teach you life skills during her personal training. More than just receiving a great physical workout, Michele taught me proper core activation, body mechanics, correct form, and stress management techniques. This has been a huge asset in improving my physical and emotional health, which has resulted in weight loss, increased energy, decreased back discomfort (and, of my joints), and establishing multiple exercise programs that I can do anywhere using my own body weight as resistance. This is great for me since I travel a lot and I’m all about convenience. Her training in yoga has taught me to be centered and flexible in my life. Though these two techniques complement each other greatly, there is a distinctive difference. Michele is always able to tailor my workout program for just what I need. I am greatly excited to further benefit from Michele’s training as a Health Coach to create an even more holistic approach to my wellness program.

I have been training in pilates and yoga with Michele for the past seven years and personally training with her for the past two and a half years. I came to Michele with posture and lower back issues and an individual goal of becoming stronger and healthier. She is very knowledgeable in identifying what I need to work on and has definitely helped me reach my goal and then some! She focuses on the mind and body connection, so not only do I feel physically stronger and more fit but I feel so much more confident in myself as a person. My journey with Michele started in a yoga/Pilates group class which awakened my desire to return to yoga. Then I realized I wanted private lessons to strengthen and tone my body. Several years ago when my knees started acting up, she tailored exercises at muscles in my legs and knees to build strength and endurance… Her students reap the added benefit of learning the skeletal and muscular anatomy as well as why and how a given exercise or routine benefits the body. With private lessons, comes the benefit of her observing your body, strengths, and weaknesses.
